The Door in the Hedge - Robin McKinley

Um, I'm not sure what I read? But it was AMAZING. I think part of the illusion of my incomprehension is that there is a generous use of colons and semicolons, so the sentences seem to keep running on and on, and the stories just tumble out of the pages and straight into your imagination. The second big feeling I had was that it was HILARIOUS because it laces ironic humor through every character mentioned, even general background characters.

Four or five fairy tales in this one book, each one divided into multiple parts. All happy endings of course~ (mostly)
