Keep Moving: And Other Tips and Truths About Aging - Dick Van Dyke

This book is all over the place. I don't think there was much of an outline at all. Rather, it reads like the transcribed version of a conversation you might have had with Dick Van Dyke with interruptions here and there for him to show you a bit of poetry or some pictures hanging around the house. I enjoyed that conversational tone.

Additionally, he is hilarious. He didn't use a super serious society-is-doomed-because-of-the-younger-generation tone nor did he get preachy about what-we-must-do-to-change-things, but approached everything with a sense of cheerful nostalgia, well-intentioned advice, and nigh limitless optimism. I knew he was one of the older actors still working today, but I had no idea he was 90! I wager it's his ultra-positive outlook on life that keeps him going at the pace he seems to live at.

I liked this book so much that I almost bought it which is a huge deal because I never buy e-books. I say almost because the imaginary tracker in the corner of my mind of my credit score stopped me at the last minute.
